Series of TC butterfly valves of Sanseco Group are of the triple offset design with a metal to metal seat. Using the cam effect the disc does not contact the seat sealing surface during opening and closing of the valve which ensures a friction free operation. Therefore the TC series butterfly valves have a lower operating torque and longer operating life than conventional centric or double offset butterfly valves.
The seat consists of multilayer seal rings, when the disc compresses the seal, a tight shut off would be obtained via the seat flexibility.
The TC series are designed in accordance with API 609 featuring a blow-out proof stem with a visible position indicator.
